If you witness anyone in the community using fireworks in a way that threatens life or property, we urge you to immediately call the Kaufman Count Sheriff’s Department at 972-932-4337 or call 911 if you feel that the behavior of other’s using fireworks in the community is causing you imminent danger.
Your attention to this matter is much appreciated!

In addition the county IS under a burn ban currently. I haven’t seen any specific regulations against fireworks during the ban — but with the extra dry grass and heat — please take EXTRA precaution if you choose to shoot fireworks over the 4th of July weekend.
