From the HOA Manager:

Dear Travis Ranch Residents,

The Travis Ranch HOA would like to remind all of the residents of Travis Ranch to use extreme caution if you are going to be using fireworks during the 4th of July holiday. Shooting fireworks in the Travis Ranch Community is not only dangerous, but it is against the law to use fireworks in a dangerous manner. If you witness anyone in the community using fireworks in a way that threatens life or property, we urge you to immediately call the Kaufman Count Sheriff’s Department at 972-932-4337 or call 911 if you feel that the behavior of other’s using fireworks in the community is causing you imminent danger.

Your attention to this matter is much appreciated!

Property Manager

In addition the county IS under a burn ban currently. I haven’t seen any specific regulations against fireworks during the ban — but with the extra dry grass and heat — please take EXTRA precaution if you choose to shoot fireworks over the 4th of July weekend.
